Learning to play a music makes kids smarter, nicer and instills a deep sense of accomplishment. Our main goal is to support music students as they develop the cognitive and physical skills that will keep music alive and leave a lifetime of impact.

A Music Scholarship by Musicans and for Musicians.

League of Everyday People is a non-profit organization that was established in 2021 in Humboldt County with the aim of promoting music, art, community, and culture on the West Coast. It was founded by local community members, namely Serg Mihaylo, Clay Adams, and Tanasa Daniel, who have a strong desire to enhance the community they love and live in.

The first initiative that the organization is launching is the "Musical Youth Scholarship Fund," which seeks to award music scholarships annually to young aspiring musicians in Humboldt County who are unable to afford instruments. The scholarship comprises six months of music lessons, a professional quality instrument, and accessories, which will be given to the student free of charge. The organization's goal is to assist the youth in our community to thrive and provide them with artistic outlets to express themselves creatively.

In 2022 we delivered 13 scholarships with the help from our vibrant community.

Why We Do What We Do.

Kids are amazing. They are imaginative, unique, and full of creative potential. They have a passion for learning and a thirst for knowledge. Unfortunately, children don't always have the opportunity and access to discover their true musical talents and potential. These children are filled with unique stories to tell, yet they may not be aware of the possibilities available to them due to the circumstances that life has put in front of them.

The League of Everyday People understands this and aims to empower these children through music education. We believe that music, along with consistent mentorship and support, can transform a student's life. Our scholarship program is dedicated to providing students with professional quality instruments and music lessons, helping them develop their talents and express themselves creatively through music.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to discover their potential and pursue their dreams. By providing music education and mentorship, we hope to empower the youth in our community to realize their full potential and thrive in life.

The Synrgy Scholarship is a music scholarship program offered by the American reggae band Synrgy. The program was established to support young musicians in pursuing their passion for music and developing their talents.

The band believes that music has the power to inspire, uplift, and connect people from different backgrounds and cultures. Through the Synrgy Scholarship, they hope to provide opportunities for aspiring musicians to develop their skills and share their music with the world.

The scholarship is open to youth pursuing their dream of learning music.

The Synrgy Scholarship award includes a monetary grant to cover the cost of lessons and other educational expenses, as well as mentorship and performance opportunities with the band. Recipients of the scholarship are also invited to attend a private concert and meet-and-greet with the band members.

The Synrgy Scholarship is a testament to the band's commitment to supporting the next generation of musicians and spreading positive messages through music. Through this program, they hope to create a legacy of inspiring and empowering young musicians for years to come.
