RED HOT SHAME - SCHOLARSHIP FUND

RED HOT SHAME is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Xeff Scolari with frequent collaborators Steven Pitsenbarger (vocals, percussion), Ryan Wilson (guitar), Spencer Kennedy (bass), Rick Fugate (drums), and James Terris (keys) Together they are a creative force that make performances feel like a wild ride - anything can happen at any moment, turning the band's live shows into can't miss events.

The Red Hot Shame Youth Scholarship is a program created by The Red Hot Shame band in an effort to give back to the loyal fans and music community as a whole. We award one student with a musical instrument, lessons and personal support from everyday people and the band that will last a lifetime.

WHAT WILL A STUDENT RECEIVE?

  • A quality (usually sentimental) musical instrument to keep.

  • 6 months of local lessons with a teacher of your choice.

  • Support and affirmation that will last a lifetime.

Everyday People is a non-profit started in Humboldt County in 2021 to bring music, art, community and culture to the West Coast. Started by local community members Serg Mihaylo, Clay Adams and Tanasa Daniel; Their hope is to enrich the community in which they live and love.

The first project they are launching is the “Musical Youth Scholarship fund”. Each year the organization will award music scholarships to aspiring young musicians who can’t otherwise afford instruments in Humboldt County.

The scholarship includes 6 months of music lessons as well as a professional quality instrument and accessories.  They will be awarded with no cost to the student. Their hope is to help the youth of our community prosper and have artistic outlets to express themselves creatively.
